Being an engineer he started working in RTO. After listening to a lecture by water expert Dr. Rajendrasinh, he got impressed and went to Rajasthan to witness the work done by him. That was the point where he started the work in water conservation movement. He was a major person who revived Agrani river in Sangli district. He is a true eco warrior, who strived hard in rejuvenating dry rivers, reducing use of water and reuse of water in industrial zone and connecting people.

He is a sensitive photographer who captures the incidents which are harmful to environment. He has received best Eco-journalist award by Maharashtra government. His photographs about conservation of water, energy and traffic rules were appreciated. He participated in a rally against ‘Panchaganga’ pollution.
He has been continuously proactive in a movement for conservation of Radhanagari Sanctuary through Friend’s Nature Club. He was major leading activist in ‘Save Sadarganj Plateau’ movement. He is a true eco warrior who enthusiastically participated in movement against animal poaching, forest fire, illegal mining and tree cutting.
Malabar Nature Conservation Club, Amboli
MNCC is active from 2006 in biodiversity and nature conservation. They work for promoting sustainable lifestyle, ecofriendly tourism, scientific and environment friendly approach. They organized ‘Butterfly Festival’ in 2006. They have studied mammals, birds, butterflies and reptiles. They serve as a link between people and Eco sensitive zone of Western Ghat.
