  • Around 44 films were screened.
  • Around 70 % of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized. Around 400 photographs were received.
  • Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Popatrao Pawar. Opening of Photography Exhibition at the hands of Hon. Dr. Achyut Godbole.
  • Lecture on Sustainable Lifestyle: ‘Reducing Carbon Footprint’ was delivered by Vidya Mujumdar.
  • Dr. Pramod Patil delivered a lecture on 'Vanishing Vultures'.
  • 'Save Environment' - a special lecture delivered by Hon. Popatrao Pawar.
  • An Audio-visual presentation by Vinita Apte, President of Terre Policy Centre on 'Green Opportunities at National and International Level'.
  • A Workshop on ‘Sustainable Lifestyle' was organized (Resource person: Vinay R.R.).

4 days (09th to 12th August 2012)

  • Around 42 films were screened.
  • Around 60 % of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized. Around 600 photographs were received.
  • Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Achyut Godbole, who delivered a lecture on 'Sustainable Development'. Opening of Photography Exhibition at the hands of Dr. Rajendra Shende.
  • Lecture on ‘Sustainable Development and Western Ghat' by Dr. Rajendra Shende
  • Green Conference on Plastic.
  • A Special Workshop on 'Sustainable Architecture' was organized in association with IDEA College.
  • A workshop on 'Urban Farming' by Amit Tillu, received very good response from the delegates.
  • Interaction with Dilip Kulkarni (recipient of Vasundhara Sanman).

  • Around 46 films were screened.
  • Around 65 % of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized. Around 500 photograph entries were entered.
  • Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Dilip Kulkarni followed by an interview and the Inauguration of Photography Exhibition at the hands of Hon. M. N. Khairnar (Asst. Conservator of Forest, Yawal Wildlife century).
  • Special Seminar on 'World Heritage Success Story of Western Ghats and Possibilities in Satputa'. Chaired by Prof. Vasantrao Sonawane, Keynote address by Dr. Rajendra Shende.
  • Lecture on 'Environmental Message from Saints' delivered by Dr. Ramchandra Dekhane.

2 days (25th to 26th August 2012)

2 days (1st September and 02nd September 2012)

  • Around 34 films were screened.
  • Around 65 % of the registrations were of youngsters and collegians.
  • Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Makarand Deshpande.
  • Around 600 children participated in Children's Cycle Rally.

3 days (03rd to 05th September 2012)

  • Around 33 films were screened.
  • Around 60 % of the registrations were of youngsters and collegians.
  • Around 40 schools presented 'Sustainable Lifestyle Ideas' with research and models.
  • Opening of Festival and Photography Exhibition at the hands of Hon. Dr. Rajendra Shende.
  • Workshop for women to make carry bags out of newspapers.
  • Dr. Anand Karve delivered a lecture on ‘Sustainable Lifestyle’.
  • Lecture on ‘Sustainable Development and Western Ghats' by Dr. Rajendra Shende.
  • Lecture on 'Backyard and Organic Farming' by Arvind Soman.

2 days (06th to 07th September 2012)

  • Around 32 films were screened.
  • Around 50% of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • Opening of Festival and Photography Exhibition at the hands of Hon. Sriman Ni. Pra. Swa. Annadaneshwara Mahaswameeji.

  • Around 45% of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • Children rally was organized for Environmental Protection of Hosapete.

4 days (13th to 16th September 2012)

  • Around 42 films were screened.
  • Around 70 % of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • Opening of Photography Exhibition and Inauguration of Festival at the hands of Dr. Rajendra Shende.
  • Two Nature Trails, one at 'Masai Pathar' and other at 'Pavangad' were organized.
  • A Cultural Programme was presented by staff artists from KOEL, Kolhapur and Kolhapur Steel Ltd.
  • Lecture on 'Western Ghat and Expert Committee Report' by Dr. Madavrao Gadgil.
  • A Green Conference on ‘Save Sahyadri’ was organized by Shivaji University.

  • Opening of Photography Exhibition and Inauguration of Festival was at the hands of Atul Deoulgaonkar, who presented an Audio-visual presentation on 'Vishwache Aart'.
  • Lecture on 'Development of Grasslands' by Dhananjay Newadkar.
  • Hon. Pannalalaji Surana delivered a lecture on 'Gandhiji and Sustainable Lifestyle', and Dr. Dharmaraj Patil delivered a lecture on 'Indian Biodiversity-Birds'.

4 days (01st October to 04th October 2012)

  • Around 45 films were screened.
  • Around 65 % of the registrations were by youngsters and collegians.
  • Opening of Photography Exhibition and Inauguration of Festival at the hands of Dr. Madhukar Bachulkar, followed by his audio-visual presentation on 'Biodiversity of Western Ghats'.
  • Lecture on 'Khadi and Natural Dyes' by Mukesh Lutade.
  • Lecture and Presentation on 'Importance of Indigenous Species and Planting Techniques'.
  • Documentary Film Competition on 'Human Wildlife Conflict' was organized.

  • Around 500 photographs entered in a local Photography Competition.
  • Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Kishor Rithe.
  • Environmental Project Competition was organized. Three students honored with scholarship.
  • Two forest guards were honored with 'Vasundhara Rakshak Puraskar'.
