  • Dr Nitan Mate delivered a lecture on ‘Role of NGOs in Creating Decentralized Energy Sources’.
  • Shekhar Nanajkar delivered a lecture on ‘Impact on Eco-Tourism on Wildlife’.
  • Prof. S.D. Mahajan explained different streams of engineering observed in plants.

4 Days (16th to 19th July 09)

  • Around 40 films were screened.
  • Literature based audio-visual programme 'Nisargayan'.
  • Audio-visual lectures 'Aranya Vachan' by Atul Dhamankar, ‘Global Warming’ by Dr. Rahul Marathe, ‘Film Making’ by Prof. Vijay Raut.
  • Dr Mohana Kulkarni (Daughter of Vetran Mukundrao Kirloskar) represented Kirloskar for inaugural function.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized. Around 500 photographs entered.

4 Days (10th to 13th Sept 2009)

  • Audio-visual lectures on ‘Global Warming’ by Dr. Rahul Marathe, ‘Nisarg Jivan’ by Dr. G.B. Dixit.

  • Around 40 films were screened.
  • Audio-Visual lectures ‘Aranyavachan’ by Kiran Purandare, Anuj Khare, ‘Maldhok’ by B.S. Kulkarni.
  • Two books were released.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized and around 200 photographs were entered.
  • Special programme 'Tya Tithe Rukhatali' organized.

6 days (4th to 9th Aug 09 )

  • Around 60 films were screened.
  • Two books were released.
  • Live painting of mural by local painters.
  • A local Photography Competition was organized. Around 300 photographs were entered.
  • Local Short film competition organized, 20 films entered.
